An accredited investor is a person or entity with the skills and resources necessary to understand the risks inherent in transactions involving financial instruments.
Professional clients as defined in Article L. 533-16 CMF have a status of qualified investors. Professional client is a client who possesses the experience, knowledge and expertise to make its own investment decisions and assess the risks. Customers meeting these criteria may request to be treated as non-professional clients and other clients that they meet these criteria may, upon request, be treated as professional clients.
