Phitrust Active Investors France publishes its 2022 Voting and Engagement Report.
This year again, strategic governance and corporate responsibility are at the heart of Phitrust’s commitment, considering that these elements are essential to the implementation of sustainable environmental and social policies.
While in 2021 the health crisis raised ecological and social awareness on climate and value sharing issues, this year Phitrust notes that the recovery of activity has had the effect of mobilising less shareholders on social issues.
The geopolitical context, the energy crisis and inflation are creating uncertainty in 2022 and 2023, at a time when companies were beginning to emerge from the instability caused by the health crisis. The environmental and social implications of this time of crisis will be significant.
Shareholders also need to exercise their responsibilities, particularly on these issues, by engaging with and listening to companies.
This is what Phitrust will try to do by being attentive to the social and environmental consequences of the geopolitical crisis and to the way management will tackle the subject of value distribution in 2022 and 2023.

About Phitrust
Since its creation in 2003, Phitrust has been investing in order to help large listed companies to improve their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices (Phitrust Active Investors) – and in innovative social enterprises to give them the financial and human means to change scale and deploy their impact (Phitrust Partners). Two activities, one single mission translated in the company’s raison d’être: Invest to act and contribute to the growth of companies that integrate human development and the preservation of our planet at the heart of their strategy.
Phitrust has adopted the quality of a company with a mission in June 2021.
