THE COMPANY
Kajou is a social enterprise created in France in 2019 by the NGO Libraries Without Borders to meet the needs of populations that do not have access to the internet, i.e. 50% of the world population. Kajou makes a large amount of content with a high educational and informative impact accessible to populations with little or no internet connection, thanks to a technology developed in partnership with Capgemini. Kajou offers microSD cards, which, when inserted into a smartphone, allow the user to browse and share up to 32GB of selected content in local languages. Kajou interacts with users, sending them notifications, messages, polls or even news via the Internet or SMS.
